What Inspires People To Take Action? An insight from a first time referrer

What motivates people to reach out and inspire choices? Inspiration comes in many forms. It may be a personal challenge or goal, a friend or family member, or just a simple desire to help someone else and the act of making a difference in the world.

We recently interviewed a first-time referrer, Nicole Antonette Arboleda, on why she decided to participate in Shearwater Health's Employee Referral Program. "I wanted to help my previous workmates and friends to have a stable and convenient job during this pandemic, and also the ERP- incentive would help me to provide for my family as well." says Nicole, a Payer vertical associate who started her UM career in June 2021. 

Nicole also shared with us how she helped her friend, Jara to go after a position in Shearwater Health:

"My friend was having a hard time working as a freelance private duty nurse because of the threat of Covid. I encouraged her to apply and have the opportunity to Work from Home and be able to take care of her father who just underwent angioplasty."

Nicole was recently rewarded for her efforts with a 30K relaxation package and a trip to Boracay given to her as a token of appreciation for referring employees to job vacancies.

By taking time out to enjoy the beach, she was able to recharge mentally and and get a much-needed rest.
